Diapason’s Soul
In to a Positve manner I was dramatically impressed by Lisa Gerrard’s THE SILVER TREE,despite previous “cold” Album as WHALERIDER (original Soundtrack)and IMMORTAL MEMORIES(collaboring with Patrick Cassidy) that for my poor opinion and ear didn’t work.
This Album according me is a Rib came from the Kind of sound and melodies whom I loved and I heard in the outstanding albums THE MIRROR POOL,DUALITY,THE INSIDER Original Soundtrack(Meltdown), ALI Original Soundtrack II( Time Flies Away) and Dead Can Dance ’s SpiritChaser,that’s great because are sounds evocative that tuned my Soul,I loved expecially the tracks SPACE WEAVER, TOWARDS THE TOWER,SERENITY, DEVOTION & WANDERING STAR
For what I feel,There is an artistical evolutive process(research?);Recent other collaborations with such great artist as Ennio Morricone or Klaus Schulze are evidences that Lisa Gerrard musically is trying to express a subliminal communicative level as for reach an universal joint.
One day I’ll be able to see and listen Sanctuary DVD and sure I’ll have all the answers that I need,for now The Silver Tree set me free.
